The Full Sail Orientation Scavenger Hunt targets on campus Full Sail Students during orientation week. The course will allow the students to be familiar with staff, students and locations on campus by navigating to specific locations around campus, recalling the location and procedure for getting approval for productions on campus, demonstrating how to embed images and videos in FSO, and networking with staff and other students in their cohort.
This asset is intended to pitch the idea to the managers with the power to implement the course. It includes the target audience, the learning outcomes, the assignments, and the design in FSO and ultimately, it’s benefit. The recorded footage includes content slides from Keynote, screen capture of FSO, footage of students navigating around campus and interviews with them. The video includes an audio narration, on camera talent interviews and music. The importance of including footage of students interacting with the course and their reaction afterward will highlight the importance of implementing this course to the audience. This asset was created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and Screenflow. The live action video was recorded using a DSLR camera and Arri Alexa. The narration was recorded with a blue snowball mic with a frequency response of 40Hz to 18kHz with a pop filter and bluetooth Pioneer over the ear headset with frequency response 9 Hz ~ 22 000 Hz.
All videos listed above will start with an image with relevant icons and text with clue about where to go. The location in which they need to go will be in the form on a number in the top left corner. They will use that number to refer to the map for navigation. The image then flips like a card and the back states what to do and how to submit the assignment. The front of the card, tells the student a situation that they could be in throughout their tenure at Full Sail and questions them where to go to find the assistance. The back of the card instructs them to complete a task and informs them how to receive credit for the assignment. This asset was created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Screenflow.
The videos above do the same thing as the above cards, however, they are live action short videos that are narrated.
